The first book I read by Monica McCarty was the Viper. I remember that I was curious about her books. I had seen the covers on Goodreads. In March 2014 I finally bought the Viper as paperback. :) I did not felt lost even tho this is book number 4 in the Highland Guard series. I have totally read this series out of order. Lol. In September 2014 I got the Raider as a Kindle e-book. I could not stop reading until the book ended. Wow! Monica’s writing is so good! If you meet Monica can you please let her sign a copy of The Viper to me? :) I really want that book signed!
